The following is a summary of comments relating to the online experimental database.

(1)  

The data repository was demonstrated, it allows the uploading of experimental information and is linked to PEACHBIT.

(2)  

The repository is now working to the agreed specification which was supplied to FIT at the start of the year. However it is clear that this specification had not been thoroughly carried out. The project partners who are responsible for the specification (initial protocol design) should revisit this issue.

(3)  

There were no comments regarding improvements to the existing specification or with respect to usability

(4)  

A number of new requests were made and will be evaluated by FIT and PEACH in order to ensure they are appropriate and sufficient time is available.

A method of allowing only the upload of raw data (or a link to it) which is categorised according to measurement type.

b.     

Automatic uploading of publications list to shared citation services e.g. connotae

c.      

Look at what Google has been doing with respect to similar services.

d.     

Support uploading of code books

e.      

PEACHBIT to provide a top ten list of experiments or methods

f.       

Provide a script which can be used to protect peoples data files
