Starlab is looking for an experienced research scientist for the Applied Neuroscience team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop new paradigms in human machine interfaces and will work closely with the hardware team on the development of the next generation of electro-physiological sensor systems. He or she will also design and carry out experiments to further these goals and will help steer future research by contributing to the preparation of proposals and defining new directions in research.

• PhD in Neuroscience with a strong mathematical/computer background or
• PhD in Mathematics or Physics or Engineering with postdoc experience in Neuroscience
• Strong background in EEG experimental design and implementation with a hands on approach
• Software development/Algorithm prototyping (Matlab, IDL, C, C++)
• Signal processing and data analysis
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent command of English (working language at Starlab)
